Prewedding shoot Amsterdam
On a rainy day I met Miranda and Roderick for their Prewedding shoot in Amsterdam at their wonderful appartement overlooking a cemetery and lot’s of trees. Their ceiling to floor windows drew me immediately to the amazing light in their livingroom and yes, the bride was getting ready there. They had found me after a friend of theirs saw the images of Suus and Jelger who happened to be her friends as well. Small world but hey, Amsterdam is village. And so it happened that after they saw my images and we had a really fun talk on skype I was booked for their wedding this summer. And as my packages include a prewedding shoot in Amsterdam we had decided to pick this day. Which unsuprisingly was rainy. As you know, it’s in Amsterdam 😉
Shooting in the rain – go to the Amsterdamse Bos
After a delicous glass of water without bubbles we jumped into my car and said ‘is this all you have got weather?’. And no, it started to pour down even more but hey, we found out that having a photo shoot in the woods is actually quite smart. The huge trees in the Amsterdamse Bos – that is the name of the big woods in Amsterdam – gave us an enormous shelter and also a very cozy feeling.
