Huh, because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I’m happy
Clap along if you feel like that’s what you wanna do

As a wedding photographer Brabant: A crazy yet super stylish festival wedding party on a golf course

Those of you who know me or have seen some of my wedding photography, know that I’m not really about elaborate decorations and the “things” in a wedding. For me, it’s the emotions and the energy that count. However, sometimes the décor and other details of a wedding are so special and unique that they actually contribute a lot to the mood of the party.

Festival styled wedding

One such example was Danique and Pieter’s wedding in Brabant. After the outdoor ceremony and a delicious lunch (think sizzling bbq dishes, elaborate fish platters and good wines) on the patio of a golf course, it was time for the evening festivities to begin. This was when the couple’s love for good food and music really came out in amazing details. With different, stylish food trucks serving Indonesian specialties, fish and meat, as well as with the installation of three large tiki tents, they created an energetic festival atmosphere. To top it off, there was a Spanish-style bodega with lots of good wines and tapas, prepared fresh to the liking of guests.
The Festival styled wedding with a vintage-feel of the party was further emphasised through eye-catching décor details. One such thing was a beautiful old coffee machine, which the father of the bride had placed in a transparent box to be showcased amidst the other installations. As the mother of the bride told me, most of the décor was actually family-owned and has been so since decades.
The groom, a real dance beast, opened the evening festivities with tapping a beer barrel once the evening guests had arrived. He really fired up the atmosphere as people were dancing to the beats of a live band. The master of ceremony and entertainer, a good friend of the family, also did a great job in keeping the energy going and making sure guests were having lots of fun.
To sum it up, it was a fantastic wedding with great energy and immense love for detail of the décor, which combined pieces of long family history with the fresh bond of this gorgeous couple.

I hope you enjoy these images and if you need a wedding photographer Brabant in the Netherlands or elsewhere, just drop me an email and I’ll be happy to discuss your plans with you.
